The Skin I’m In
We often take for granted the importance of our skin as it relates to our daily, natural movement and sports. The skin is our body glove, protecting, regulating and allowing movement at around our joints. Basically, it stretches as we move.
But skin pliability can be limited by scar tissue, keloids and even psoriasis. Let your Physical Therapist or athletic trainer know of any old surgeries, wounds or history of “damaged” skin. This might play an important in your mobility training and overall performance. http://ow.ly/i/4otv4
