How Often Should I Train My Core? The muscles of the core are like any other muscles in the body. They respond and adapt to loads, stress, and resistance.
Training for strength? Train 2x/week with heavy loads and muscle exhaustion, staying between the 8-10 rep scheme.
Want muscular endurance to resist back fatigue over long periods of time? Choose lighter weights and higher reps…or better yet, time!
So, it’s power you crave. Add some speed to your movements (medicine ball throws, hammer, ropes, sleds).
Oh, don’t forget to factor in rest periods. Manipulating your time plays a crucial role in recovery and strength gains!
