Couch Hip Flexor Stretch Progression

Desk jockey? Runner? Cyclist?

Do you feel like your hip flexors could use some flexibility love?

Here’s a great, progressive, dynamic stretching  program that will open up your hips and increase your extension. 

 Keys to success:

  • Start at the lowest level, and work up from there.
  • Using your breathing tempo as movement tempo.
  • No joint pain allowed!
  • Shoot for 15- 20 reps each side and symmetry.
  • Hold the stretch at the end of your reps for 20-30 seconds,  gradually increasing your hold time.

Try this before biking, running or dancing. 

Use this stretch as breaks from sitting at your computer. 

Heal. Move. STRETCH. Evolve.
