How to Stop F#*king Up Your Back: Learn Your ABCs!

The back can be complicated. Training the back does not have to be.

The right Physical Therapist knows how to efficiently and effectively treat your back issue to return you to work, life, and play ASAP. The wrong PT can delay your return, and even hamper your future performance.

The overall goals of your core stability program should be to:

  • Reduce pain
  • Avoid reoccurrence
  • Improve stability
  • Increase overall performance

Before you add any extra load or increase the intensity in your core stability program, learn your ABCs:

Alignment: Postural alignment during movement is crucial.  Your muscles and joints work best when well-aligned.

Breathwork: Your diaphragm forms the roof of your “core’. Neglect training your diaphragm and your house can collapse.

Control: Movement without control is asking for trouble. If you cannot maintain your alignment or breathwork during an activity, you are out of control!

Learn your ABCs for a more efficient and effective training program. The more you know, the better you grow.

See how we break down your ABCs and much more in our C.O.R.E. 101 video.
