Working Out After a Bad Night’s Sleep Skip or Scale Down?

Last night, my sleep was so bad.

And I had a @CrossFitPlainville workout scheduled for 9 am this morning!

Barely awake at 7:30 AM I had a decision to make… Skip the workout or scale it down?

This morning’s scheduled CrossFit workout was supposed to be:

1 minute of each, 6 rounds:

  • Sit-ups
  • Farmers carry
  • Shuttle run
  • Box jump
  • Reverse lunges

Watch the video to see how I scaled down my training, based on both my brain and body readiness and my neurological (motor control) capacity.

Heal. Move. TRAIN. Evolve.

  • I liked it as much as you did. Even though the picture and writing are good, you're looking forward to what comes next. If you defend this walk, it will be pretty much the same every time.

  • I had a great time with that, too. Despite the high quality of the visuals and the prose, you find yourself eagerly anticipating what happens next. If you decide to defend this walk, it will basically be the same every time.

  • Amazing beat, I would like to learn from you as you make changes to your website. How can I sign up for a blog website? The account really helped me. I was somewhat aware of this, and your broadcast provided a clear and concise understanding of it.
